Lifebook 2015 week 13 with Juliette Crane

My week 13 with Juliette Crane - My first Owl ever,so not perfect at all but I loved making her.

Here I show you a few step by step images of "The Process' lol.  I really had to go "throught the ugly" as I was almost throwing my owl away a couple of times.

The first step, creating a background with the technique Juliette showed us.

I toned it down a bit by adding a thin layer of transparent white paint ( It was too bright for me at this point)

Here comes the "Ugly" LOL  I really didn't like it but I kept on going........

to end up with this, my first Owl ever ;)

Thanks for watching!

This is my finished piece of artwork ;)

Below I'll show you some work in progress pictures.

I hope you like it, thanks for watching and have a great day !

50 Shades of GREEN Lost Coast Blog Hop Giveaway

My creation for the "50 Shades of Green" Blog Hop by Lost Coast Designs, Inspired by the artwork of Seth Apter
Create a background with different shades of Green

Add some "texture"with the Flagstone Background stamp

Another layer with the use of some stencils and a mask

The big face on the left is a handmade mask combined with one of the stamps from the Phrenology Heads Set

To finish this art journal page I stamped the quote (using versamark green permanent ink) on some old music paper and then cut the letters before applying them it onto the background.

Project Life - Making your own cards & textured backgrounds

For these project life pages, 2 holidays in 2008 and 2009 I used my own made background cards in combination with some purchased cards. I like making my own cards to combine them and give my album my own signature. The products I used for the background cards are all from Art Anthology.
This gave me a nice textured background wich I personally like very much.

Project Life Madness

I just finished another Project Life page. It's going to be very addictive making Project Life pages and  making background cards using one of my Gelliplates. :)

Project Life more mixed media backgrounds.

This layout I again made with some hand made backgrounds. This time I used a gelliplate creating them. I combined the gelliplate prints with some watercolour prints and purchased cards.

Here you see the finished results with my pictures added. I made a few changes in the layout so it is just the way I like it most. :)
Thanks for watching again ! :)
