January 2015 Guest Designer Stampotique (week4)

My 4th and last project as a Stampotique Guest designer had to be one with a painted background technique. (hosted by Corrie).

I combined blue acryllic paint with distress ink to make the background and used the Romantic Text stamp by France Papillon and brown ink on top of it.

As I am a big Frida fan (I wanted to use one of her stamps this month for sure) I choose Frida Grande by Amy Wilson and embossed her with black embossing powder.
I attached Frida on top of a piece of craft cardstock and stamped the French Journal page as a bit of a background and on top of that I stamped the word Fabulous by Carol's Collection. To finish the card I added some Tim Holtz sentiments and distressed the edges.

I really enjoyed this month as a guest designer for Stampotique and I hope you did too. Thanks for looking !

Lifebook 2015 - week1 Tamara Laporte

For the first time I joined lifebook this year.

Untill now we had 4 challenges, the first was a warming up from Tamara Laporte, just to get into the mood. Not really difficult but fun to do! LOL

After that we had to make a "Beacon of Light" which I liked doing very much so I made 2 extra ones :)

First "Beacon of Light"

My second "Beacon of Light" combined with lettering inspired by Joanne Sharpe

And my 3th "Beacon of Light" which I also like very much, it's so much fun making these that I will probably will make more of them soon!

January 2015 Guest Designer Stampotique (week3)

The 3th theme this month as a guest designer for Stampotique is "Punny/Funny Projects" hosted by Kathi.
E.E. Cummings once said:
"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter." Puns and word play always make me smile. Really good puns make me laugh.

So to make you smile (I hope) I created this "depresso coffee guy" for you.

I folded and stitched a large tag to create a pocket to insert the small tag with "Coffee" sentiment. The background I made using clear embossing powder and France's new "Romatic Text" stamp which is lovely!  The "depresso" guy is Jammin' by Daniel Torrente. The sentiment I made on the computer and distressed it after printing  it.

It was fun making this one, hope you like it too :)

January 2015 Guest Designer Stampotique (week2)

The theme for my second artwork as a  Stampotique guest designer was "Color Splash"by Kaz. She wanted to see bright colours to cheer up the dim days of January.

I made a bright green background with some spray paints and wrote some text on top of it with a white gelli-pen. Then I stamped the hexagon stamp (Jo Capper-Sandon) on some fluo colored paper (I used Amsterdam Acrylic Fluo paints for this) with versamark  and embossed the stamp white embossing powder.

I cut out The "Metal Love"stamp (by Amy Willson Wellenstein), which I also outlined with a white pen and then glued on top of the hexagons.|The small heart on the right is the small heart by France Papillon. :)

License plate alphabet

This time I made another art Journal page. For the background I used some stencils, spray inks, markers and of course some Lost Coast stamps.  The Travel Stuff and the Snowfalkes stamp set I used for creating the background. (Take a look at the close-up picture to see).

For the text I used my Favourite Licence plate set, stamped the text on some gelli print scraps, cut them out and glued them on the background. For the border I used the Rustic Checkerboard Border.

Forever Green Zig- Zag Album

The other day I designed the red zig-zag album for a design team call. Now I also made one in green with Forever Green design paper by Prima Marketing.

January 2015 Guest Designer Stampotique (week1)

I am very pround to let you know I am a guest designer for Stampotique in the month January this year.

The theme of the first week, hosted by Claudine,  is "New Years Resolution". Most of us always create a new Years Resolution at the beginning of the new year. So for 2015 I made something with a new years resolution in mind :)

For this tag I used The "When I grow up" Stamp (Carol's Collection), "January" from the months stamp set by Amy Wilson, "Weasel" by Daniel Torrente and France's French Journal Page"" for the background.
